  Been coming here since I was a kid. Same cook! Great food! As authentic as you can get without actually being IN Mexico! The combination plate is the way to go.
  Lock your car. Come when it is light and enjoy. After dark, good luck!
  But you seriously, will not find better Mexican food this side of the border.

  Had carry out from here at work!  Standard Mexican fare, delicious, inexpensive, and authentic.  Wide menu selection of entrees and deserts!

  This restaurant has been in Racine for over 50'years. Kind of a Racine landmark for great Mexican food tho the neighborhood is not inviting. Food here used to be awesome! Not anymore. You can't get most items listed on their menu as they just don't make them. Well.... they're available ONLY on their combo plate. If you want guacamole, can't get it. Only on combo plate. If you want their beef "stew" which used to be so tender it would fall apart...not when we ordered it...tho it's listed as a separate item on menu, only available on combo plate. As were the sopas. Only available again, on combo plate. Ordered tacos...shredded beef ones which I was told were less greasy that the ground beef ones. Hate to have ordered the ground beef ones then as my shredded beef tacos, which were rolled up and fried, were tasteless except for the grease taste! Love the authentic feel of restaurant which I'm sure hasn't changed decor since it opened. But on the other hand, could definitely use some fixing up. Totally disappointed in food!  Will not go back. And that's sad cuz this restaurant was always the go to spot for authentic Mexican food.

  My mom has been taking me here since I was born, and she has been coming here since she was a teenager. Obviously I couldn't eat the tacos until I was a little older but these are hands down the best tacos I have ever had in my entire 24 years of living. I cannot wait to have kids someday and show them this place so that they may do the same. Sure they may not always have the best customer service but it has never really bothered me. I've never had a horrible experience just some annoyance here and there which can happen anywhere, besides this is family owned through and through and I love that! These tacos are soooo incredible if I haven't made that clear already lol I will literally not eat tacos from anywhere else except here! Can't wait to go back again, if only I still lived in Racine then I'd have them everyday I could! Don't let the neighborhood or any negative reviews deter you from trying this amazing, authentic, family owned Mexican restaurant.

  Been coming here since I was a kid. Those fond memories are distant. The last time we went there the wait staff was completely incompetent. They messed up so bad the majority of my family vowed never to return. My parents decided to give them another shot since they had been going there since forever. My dad is one of the nicest guys ever. He asked for another tortilla and the idiot waiter told him that an extra order of tortillas comes in three with a charge. My dad said he only wanted one. The punk kid came back with a tortilla in his hand and threw it on the table. I almost went in there to kick his ass. But instead our whole family will never return to what was once a beloved family tradition.
